HuiWon Choi is the founder and president of Ampersand Fundraising, LLC. Her passion is empowering nonprofit organizations to reach their development goals, and she is honored to provide this support. She is inspired by like-minded individuals who are dedicated to improving the lives of others and their communities. 

HuiWon has over ten years of development experience. Over the course of her career, she has helped organizations raise over $75MM in sectors including health, religion, social services, and education. 

As a fundraising consultant, HuiWon has planned and managed campaigns ranging in size from $20MM to $150MM. She has guided all aspects of a development program and has the experience to:

• conduct feasibility and assessment studies,

• build and execute campaign plans,

• develop the case for support and collateral,

• create effective prospect strategies,

• train staff and volunteer leaders,

• manage day-to-day fundraising operations,

• implement stewardship strategies, and

• coordinate projects across stakeholder groups.

Prior to becoming a consultant, HuiWon gained valuable in-house experience in individual giving, annual funds, major gifts, and direct mail at Girls Inc. and New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
